Supported CAD versions

• Creo 11.0, 10.0, 9.0, 8.0, 7.0, 6.0
• Inventor 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020
• AutoCAD 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020
• SolidWorks 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020

NOTE for Creo: You need to have Creo with 'Creo Object TOOLKIT Java and Jlink' application feature installed

Fresh Installation

This section assumes that you do not have any earlier version of Link-It installed on your PC.

• Close all CAD applications
• Download and execute the Link-It 10 installer, and follow the instructions in the installation wizard to complete the installation
• Start the CAD application

You should see now a new "Link-It" ribbon in CAD application's user interface. If not, then:

SolidWorks: Open any SOLIDWORKS model or create new.
Inventor: go to Add-Ins and check unblock option for Link-It add-in.
AutoCAD: close and restart AutoCAD.
Creo: Check that you have added the required start-up option into your config.pro: PROTKDAT $APIGLUE_PATH\buttonit\Creo\linkit_creo10.dat

Update

This section assumes that you have earlier build of Link-It version 10 installed on your PC.

• Close all CAD applications
• Download and execute the Link-It 10 installer, and follow the instructions in the installation wizard to complete the installation
• Link-It core and help folders updates. Custom remains as is.
